In the message that you are typing in the message creation form, place your cursor in the spot where you want a smiley to appear.

From the Emoticons list, click on the smiley that you want to insert.

 Tip: If you don't see a smiley that you want to use, click the View more Emoticons link to access additional ones.

A small string of code appears in the message creation text box. This code is interpreted in the browser as the smiley that you selected.
|
 Note: Some browsers place the string of code for the smiley at the bottom of the message, instead of in the spot where you inserted it. When you insert a smiley, take note of where it appears in the message creation box. If your browser has moved it to the bottom, you can cut and paste it or drag it back to the spot where you want it to appear.
