| Deleting Your Polls |

Unless you are an administrator or moderator, you can only delete your own polls.

After someone has voted in your poll, you can no longer delete the poll, itself. However, if no one has posted a reply message in the associated topic, you can delete the entire topic; the poll is automatically deleted along with it (even if someone has voted in the poll).

Tip: The instructions below are for deleting only the poll portion of a new topic message. For instructions on deleting both the new topic message and the poll, see Deleting Your Posts.

| To a delete a poll: |

Inside the message block of the first message in the topic, click the edit icon.
|
The icon/button will look something like these examples, but can be different, depending on the style installed on the forum.

The message creation form appears with your message inside it and your poll at the bottom.

Scroll to the bottom of the form and select the Delete Poll check box.

Click the Submit button.
|

A confirmation message appears.
|

Click the Yes button.
|
| 5) |
At this point, a page appears, offering you the choice to either go to the forum index or to view the corresponding message inside the topic. Click the link that corresponds to your preference.
